How to read these breast augmentation photographs
From the front, compare the volume, but above all how it is distributed: the width of the breast in relation to the chest, the space between the two breasts, the position of the areola. In profile, look at the slope of the upper breast and the curve of the lower breast. An implant too wide for the chest or too heavy for the skin produces an artificial result: it is harmony with the figure, not volume alone, that guides the choice.
Depending on the approach chosen, the scar lies along the lower edge of the areola, in the fold beneath the breast or in the armpit; it fades over twelve to eighteen months. In the first weeks the breasts sit high and feel firm: the result is assessed at three months and considered final at six. With lipofilling, the increase remains moderate, in the order of half a cup to one cup size per session.
