Before and after — gynaecomastia
This gallery shows before-and-after results of gynaecomastia surgery carried out by Dr Benjamin Pulvermacker. The photographs are taken from the front and in profile, under the same conditions of framing, lighting and distance, which allows an honest comparison.
Gynaecomastia is the abnormal development of the breast gland in a man. Its treatment most often combines liposuction with excision of the glandular tissue, through a discreet incision at the lower edge of the areola. The result can be judged at two months, the scar continuing to fade over a year.
To understand the full course of the operation, the preliminary endocrine assessment and the conditions for reimbursement, see the page devoted to gynaecomastia.
These photographs are published with the agreement of the patients concerned. They illustrate individual results and do not constitute a guarantee of outcome. Every anatomical situation is different.
